The Camden Wollondilly Domestic Violence Committee plays an integral role in prevention work and in improving service delivery to women and children experiencing domestic violence in the Camden and Wollondilly local government areas.
Local Domestic Violence Committees are a program of the NSW Strategy to Reduce Violence Against Women. The Strategy seeks to reduce violence against women through the promotion of partnerships between government agencies, non-government agencies and women’s groups/services to address and respond to issues of violence against women, and the inclusion of a prevention focus in the practice and culture of all agencies and individuals.
